There also are some of the largest whitetail deer in Arkansas harvested in the Sunken Lands! Located just outside of Rivervale, AR in Poinsett County and joins the Hachie Coon Lake. This property is truly that Diamond in the Rough!! You can enjoy all of the WMA around this property but your able to build you a blind, set out your decoys on this privatley owned piece of heaven. Also for deer hunters on this piece can still feed the deer. You will have to go by some of WMA’s guidelines such as:

Each WMA is a separate zone for which the Commission may establish and apply hunting regulations. All private lands that are completely surrounded by WMA lands shall be considered in-holdings. Such in-holdings shall be subject to the same regulations pertaining to hunting season dates, hunting hours, bags limits and hunting permits as the surrounding WMA.
As far as duck hunting goes, since this is an in-holding, they need to stop duck hunting at noon. This being said, since it is private property, they may build blinds and leave decoys out all day, which you cannot do on the WMA.
For out of state buyers, they do have the ability to hunt all 60 days on this 80 acres even though it is an in-holding. However, if they hunt Saint Francis Sunken Lands, they will need a permit and will only have the option to hunt 30 days.
As far as access with equipment, atvs, etc., they will need a LUPA (Land Use Permit) from AG&F to go through the WMA. Arkansas Game and Fish can write these but it has to go to the buyer after they purchase the property, not before. We can write this to satisfy us and the owner so that they can cut timber or do what is necessary as long as they keep the access they are using on the WMA in good condition.
